Congratulations to Rosie Meadow Belfast Lough Sailability who won an award for her Outstanding Contribution

Rosy Meadow - Outstanding Contribution

Rosy is one of the founding members of Belfast Lough Sailability. She was instrumental in ensuring chartable status for Belfast Lough Sailability and has held the position of Honorary Secretary since 2002. The committee at Belfast Lough rely heavily on Rosy diligence and meticulous work focusing on the progress of Belfast Lough Sailability and her expertise, skills and high standards of work are of paramount importance to the organisations success.

Through Rosy’s determined efforts, Belfast Lough Sailability has secured local funding for 4 Access Dinghies and the first ever SKUD 18 in Northern Ireland. Over 140 people with disabilities are able to participate and competitive and growing membership at the club.

Rosy is an exceptional individual and a superb advocate for Belfast Lough Sailability. She has provided extensive support and encouragement to its members, ensuring that people with disabilities can experience and enjoy the sport and freedom of boating and ultimately are able to participate in their chosen sport.
